ABOUT

Hello, I'm KK! So happy you found me. 

Before I tell you anything else, there are absolutely three things you must know about me; I actually despise the cold, so my smile in the left picture is slightly forced, my dog is my best friend, and I have an unconditional love for soccer. Although college and professional soccer has been my pursuit for quite some time now, that does not mean my passion for photography was simply brushed under the rug. My first experience with a DSLR was during one of our Christmas family vacations down in Florida. My dad assigned me the responsibly of photographer for the duration of the trip and before I new it, I was taking photojournalism classes at Creighton and Central Michigan University.

Because sports have consumed most of my life, I don't have quite as deep of a portfolio as I would like to at this point in my life. However, what I lack in depth, I gain in experience, creativity, and hard work. I have photographed several types of portraits including indoor and outdoor, senior pictures, Christmas family portraits, corporate head shots, and "personal head shots" (which turned out to be for fake ID's and I did not find that out till much later, sorry Mom). I also have a experience shooting several events such as wedding reception, banquets, and all sorts of sporting events. But if you asked me what I loved taking pictures of the most, it would be anything that involves animals, star trails, or abandoned insane asylums (don't ask about that last one.)
